I have found the key to my cat and puppies hearts! If I want to see them get super excited and think that I am the greatest thing since chicken flavored treats, all I have to do is bring out a hair tie! Our cat will play with these things for hours and hours! He will even play fetch with them! We will shoot one across the room and he excitedly chases it and then proudly trots back with it in his mouth and drops it at our feet. The dogs love hair ties to, but they always want the one that the other dog has. On occasion this has caused a fight or two but all in all they just run and chase each other trying to either keep it away or steal it back! 
The puppy on the far left is Cheerio. From the looks of her I think she was the Grinch's dog, with the one antler, during some Christmas long ago. She is the super sweet always cuddles with you dog. She also wants to be held while you are walking around. She rests her head on my shoulder and we just walk around! She loves it :)
The puppy on the far right is Delila. She is the one who will do what ever is in her power to get in your lap when it is nap time. She will nidge whatever is currently in her nap lap off and proceed to curl up and get comfy! I was laying pavers in our backyard recently and when 2:30 came she repetedly tried to curl up in my lap and could not figure out why I would not just hold her! It was cute, but I had work to get done!
Then there is our cat Blue! He purrs all the time and loves to be held and have his belly rubbed!
